Calico-Coated Clevite H-Series LS Main Bearings – Standard Size – CAL-MS2199H

The CAL-MS2199H main bearing set combines proven Clevite H-Series construction with Calico’s performance dry-film lubricant coating for demanding GM LS engine applications.

Clevite H-Series bearings feature a tri-metal TM-77 construction, hardened steel backing, increased crush and medium eccentricity for improved stability under high cylinder pressure and elevated engine speed. Enlarged edge chamfers provide additional clearance for performance crankshafts with larger journal fillets, while the unplated steel backs promote secure seating in the block and main caps.

Calico’s low-friction coating provides an additional protective layer that helps reduce friction, abrasive wear and metal-to-metal contact during initial startup, high-load operation and momentary oil-film disruption.

Professional installation is recommended. Always measure each installed bearing bore and verify actual oil clearance after the bearings are torqued in the block.
