3V Performance LT5  Hydraulic Roller Camshaft | 22x/23x

Built for the supercharged Chevrolet LT5, this cam adds a stronger midrange and pulls harder through the upper RPM range while retaining hydraulic roller operation. Its 114.5° lobe separation and 117° installed intake centerline make it a performance street and strip choice for an LT5 with supporting valve springs, fuel system, and tuning.

Camshaft specifications

  • Duration at .050": 22x° intake / 23x° exhaust

  • Advertised duration at .006": 273° intake / 287° exhaust

  • Valve lift: .639" intake / .639" exhaust with 1.8:1 rockers

  • Lobe separation angle: 114.5°

  • Installed intake centerline: 117°

Estimated operating range: 2,500–6,700 RPM, depending on the blower setup, cylinder heads, exhaust, and calibration.

Automatic transmission recommendation: A matched 2,800–3,200 RPM stall converter for best street and strip response. Final converter selection should account for vehicle weight, gearing, tire size, and the LT5’s supercharged torque.

Professional tuning is required. Verify valve spring capacity, piston-to-valve clearance, and VVT phaser travel during installation.
