3V Performance Stage 2.5 GM Gen V LT Camshaft – 22X/24X – .625"/.625" – 116° LSA
Application: Naturally Aspirated • Supercharged • Turbocharged • Nitrous
Power Adder Compatible: Yes
The 3V Performance Stage 2.5 Gen V LT Camshaft is designed for enthusiasts looking for a serious increase in performance while maintaining a broad, usable powerband for performance street and street/strip applications.
Featuring 22X° intake / 24X° exhaust duration at .050", .625" intake and exhaust lift, and a 116° lobe separation angle, the Stage 2.5 delivers increased airflow and strong mid-range through upper-RPM performance without stepping into an overly aggressive race-only profile.
The 16° intake-to-exhaust duration split provides additional exhaust-side capability, while the 116° LSA helps produce a broad power curve and makes this profile well suited for a variety of high-performance Gen V LT combinations.

Recommended RPM & Converter
The Stage 2.5 is designed to provide a strong, usable powerband from approximately 2,500–6,800 RPM.
For automatic-transmission applications, we recommend a 3,000–3,500 RPM stall converter for most performance street and street/strip combinations. More aggressive combinations may benefit from approximately 3,500–3,800 RPM stall, depending on vehicle weight, gearing, engine displacement, transmission, and intended use.
Strong Street & Strip Performance
The Stage 2.5 is an excellent choice for LT owners wanting a noticeable performance cam with strong mid-range torque, increased top-end power, and an aggressive performance character while maintaining a usable street-oriented powerband.
This cam works especially well with improved intake and exhaust flow, supporting valvetrain upgrades, and professional ECU calibration.
Recommended Supporting Components
A properly matched performance valve spring kit is required. Depending on the specific Gen V LT application, additional valvetrain components and a DOD/AFM delete kit may also be required.
Professional installation and tuning are recommended. Always verify piston-to-valve clearance, spring installed height, coil bind, retainer-to-seal clearance, and overall valvetrain compatibility for your specific combination.
