Maxima PS0 is an ultra-low-viscosity, full-synthetic racing engine oil engineered to minimize friction and release maximum horsepower in purpose-built competition engines. Jointly developed with a leading NHRA Pro Stock racing program, PS0 uses an advanced ester-based formula and exclusive friction-modifier system to reduce internal drag without sacrificing protection of critical engine components.

PS0 has approximately half the viscosity of a typical 20-weight engine oil, reducing pumping losses, windage and friction throughout the engine. Its advanced anti-wear and extreme-pressure additive system provides exceptional protection for bearings, camshafts, lifters, crankshafts and other heavily loaded components.

Despite its extremely low viscosity, PS0 is formulated to provide the oil-film strength and thermal stability required by racing engines producing more than 2,500 horsepower. It is suitable for both flat-tappet and roller-cam valvetrains.

Race-Only Application Notice

Not recommended for street use. PS0 is intended for purpose-built competition engines designed specifically for ultra-low-viscosity racing oil. Bearing clearances, oil temperature, oil pressure, operating speed and intended service must be appropriate for this oil.

The elevated anti-wear additive content may adversely affect catalytic converters and other passenger-vehicle emissions components. Use only when approved by the engine builder.
